The Gastrology and Laparoscopic and Obesity Surgery are headed by Dr. Ramesh Gajula in Anu Hospital, Vijayawada. Dr. Ramesh has a remarkable educational background, which has assisted him in his current position. He has done his graduation from Kurnool Medical College in 1994, and later on, he went for his post-graduation in Saint Martha's hospital Bangalore, 1999. After completion of his post-graduation, he did his MRCS at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons from the United Kingdom in 2004. In 2009, he completed his fellowship in Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery in South Korea. At Michigan University United States of America, he practiced diabetic surgery until he joined the Universal Group of Hospitals in Istanbul, Turkey.
Dr. Ramesh has a vast 12 years of experience in Laparoscopic surgery and has performed different kinds of Laparoscopic Surgery, which includes CBD exploration, cholecystectomy, Hydrated Cyst Excision Cardio Myotomy, and many more. The doctor specializes in the field of Surgical Gastronomy and Laparoscopic Surgeries, Bariatric Surgery, General Surgery, and Medical Oncology, as well as holds vast experience in advanced surgery, which made it suitable to head the department.
