The Rokkam Likshmi Narasimham Dora Educational Society was established in the memory of Late Rokkam Lakshmi Narasimham Dora. He was the first speaker of the legislative assembly of the erstwhile Andhra State of which Karnool was the capital. He halled from a family of freedom fighters of Telaga caste. He was well known educational institutions and charitable and social organizations in may places besides him home town. He donated land generously and offered accommodation for a school in his native place.The chief aim of establishing the collage of education under the sponsorship of the society is to provide good education to the aspiring students with a motto of social service.
COLLEGE OF EDUCATION
The college was established in 2006 on the basis of high ideals and right ideologies of academicians. It is one among the colleges of Teacher Education, started under Rokkam Lakshmi Narasimham Dora Educational Society and is affiliated to Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh State. The National Council for Teacher Education, accorded recognition by order No FSRO/NCTE/B.Ed./2005-2006/5114DATED 04.01.2006.

This college is managed by R.L.N. Dora Educational Society, Srikakulam, which is committed to the mo4ral values and ideals in providing education of high standards.
